Congressman McClintock delivered the following remarks during a press conference honoring the introduction of H. Res. 100:
Good morning. I want to heartily welcome all of you who are joining us to announce the introduction of House Resolution 100. This measure, which 165 members of the House of Representatives have introduced as original co-sponsors – Republicans and Democrats alike – expresses our united support for the Iranian people in their struggle for a democratic, secular, and nonnuclear Republic of Iran. And it condemns the violations of human rights and the state-sponsored terrorism of the Iranian regime.

WASHINGTON – A broad bi-partisan coalition of 165 house members joined Congressman Tom McClintock (CA-05) today to announce the introduction of House Resolution 100, voicing support for the Iranian Resistance Council’s ten-point plan for a democratic, secular and non-nuclear Republic of Iran.

Representative Tom McClintock, CA-05, has been named Chairman of the Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement Subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee in the 118th Congress. McClintock served as Ranking Member of the subcommittee in the previous Congress, earning a reputation as a fighter for border security and legal immigration.
