High School Congressional Art Competition
Each spring the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.
The winning entry from each congressional district across the United States is displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. The winning student from each congressional district is invited, along with one guest, to the unveiling of the exhibit and a reception in Washington, D.C., and is provided two round-trip airline tickets for the occasion.
Information about the 4th Congressional District contest for 2016, including the theme and deadlines will be posted on this site in early 2016. Further information can also be found by calling Congressman McClintock's California office at 916-786-5560.
