2018 Art Winners

Each spring the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.

The winning entry from each congressional district across the United States is displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. The winning student from each congressional district is invited, along with one guest, to the unveiling of the exhibit and a reception in Washington, D.C. and is provided two round-trip airline tickets for the occasion.

"America the Beautiful" was the theme for the 2018 contest for the 4th Congressional District. Click for information on 4th Congressional District contest information.

A reception was held on May 3, 2018 at BI Design Studios in El Dorado Hills to honor the 2018 winners. Students, parents, friends and classmates were welcome to attend and Congressman McClintock was on hand to congratulate the winners and present Congressional Certificates of Recognition.
