Three outstanding art students garnered awards in the Congressional Art Competition -- An Artistic Discovery -- a nation-wide high school art competition sponsored by Members of Congress. The contest was open to all high school students within the Fourth Congressional District. The winners are:
Representative McClintock delivered the following remarks today in the House Natural Resources Committee on House Resolution 1254. The resolution directs the Secretary of the Interior to transmit to the House of Representatives specific information relating to potential National Monuments designations.
All high school students are invited to participate in the Congressional Art Competition, An Artistic Discovery, a nation-wide high school art competition sponsored by the Members of the U.S. House of Representatives. The contest is open to all high school students within the Fourth Congressional District.
U.S. Representative Tom McClintock (Ca 04) has named Rocklun “Rocky” Deal as District Director. Deal had an illustrious career in the Navy, as well as extensive experience in the military, business and civic leadership. “Rocky Deal has unmatched leadership experience and ability,” Rep. McClintock said.
Washington, D.C. ---Representative Tom McClintock’s (CA-04) legislation honoring Army Specialist Jeremiah Paul McCleery by naming a Post Office in his honor passed out of the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday.
Representative Tom McClintock’s office learned today that Lake Clementine will remain open through fiscal year 2010, and that the Bureau of Reclamation will continue to fund and manage recreation and land use at the lake through that time.
Washington, DC – Congressman Tom McClintock has selected Claire Mars of Alta Sierra, California as his nominee to the 2009 Fall Congressional Page Program. Mars, a sixteen year old junior at William & Marian Ghidotti High School, will serve as a page in the U.S .House of Representatives for the fall semester which runs from late August 2009 through January 2010.
