House Chamber, Washington, D.C. October 13, 2011. Mr. Speaker: Forty years from now, a beloved high school history teacher at Tahoe High School named Garrett Fant should be celebrating his retirement surrounded by generations of his students and by his children and grandchildren. They would have all told affectionate stories of how Mr. Fant inspired them or helped them and wished him a happy and well-deserved retirement.
Congressman McClintock will hold a town hall meeting on Thursday, October 20th at 6:00 PM in Roseville. The meeting will be held at Oakmont High School, in the auditorium. The high school is located at 1710 Cirby Way, Roseville.

On Saturday, September 10, Congressman McClintock will hold town hall meetings in Chester, Susanville and Alturas:
Chester, 10:00 AM, Almanor Recreation Center, 450 Meadowbrook Loop, Chester.
Susanville, 1:00 PM, Commercial Building, Lassen County Fair Grounds.
Alturas, 4:00 PM, Brass Rail Restaurant, Alturas.
Mr. Speaker: On June 26th, a roadside bomb in Jalula, Iraq claimed the life of a young man from Oroville, California. He was Army Staff Sergeant Russell Jeremiah Proctor, age 25, on his third tour of combat duty.
He was laid to rest last week in solemn ceremonies in California. Sgt. Proctor leaves behind a grieving widow, a devastated family, and a nine-month old son who will know his father only by reputation.
And it is reputation that I want to speak of today. I never met Sgt. Proctor. I, too, know him only by reputation.
Congressman McClintock will conduct a town hall meeting in Grass Valley on Thursday, June 30th at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at Higgins Lions Community Center, 22490 East Hacienda Drive, Grass Valley.

Congressman Tom McClintock will conduct a town hall meeting in Georgetown, Thursday, June 9, at 6 PM. The meeting will be held in the International Order of Odd Fellows Hall, 6240 Main Street, Georgetown.
Six outstanding art students garnered top awards in the Congressional Art Competition -- An Artistic Discovery -- a high school arts contest sponsored by Members of Congress. The competition was open to all high school students within California's Fourth Congressional District. The winners are:
