Letter from Congressman Tom McClintock to USDA Forest Chief Thomas Tidwell regarding the Plumas National Forest:

Congressman Tom McClintock announced that Community Recovery Resources, Inc.– a substance abuse and mental health services agency in Grass Valley, the City of Alturas Police Department and the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians have been awarded competitive grants through the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Community Facilities Program.
“These projects were selected for funding on the basis of merit through a competitive process,” McClintock said. “I am pleased that hard work and dedication of the recipients resulted in these awards.”
