Congressman McClintock is a co-author of H.R. 2898 (Valadao), the Western Water and American Food Security Act of 2015.  The legislation was approved by the House Natural Resources Committee on July 9th, 2015.  The bill next goes to the House floor.  Congressman McClintock delivered the following remarks in the House Natural Resources Committee in support of the measure:

HR 2577 - Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriation: No.  Although this appropriation fits within the overall architecture of the budget, it is so stuffed with wasteful spending that I cannot vote for it.

Congressman McClintock introduced an amendment to H.R. 2577 - FY16 Transportation, Housing & Urban Development Appropriations Act to eliminate funding for the "Essential Air Service" program. The amendment was defeated by a vote of 166 to 255.
