U.S. Representative Tom McClintock (CA-04 Granite Bay) the ranking member of the House Water and Power Subcommittee today called for a Congressional field hearing on California’s water crisis.

Representative Tom McClintock’s office learned today that Lake Clementine will remain open through fiscal year 2010, and that the Bureau of Reclamation will continue to fund and manage recreation and land use at the lake through that time.

Washington, DC – Congressman Tom McClintock has selected Claire Mars of Alta Sierra, California as his nominee to the 2009 Fall Congressional Page Program. Mars, a sixteen year old junior at William & Marian Ghidotti High School, will serve as a page in the U.S .House of Representatives for the fall semester which runs from late August 2009 through January 2010.
